“I believe that I can teach any able
person to learn and play piano with
success, if he or she is willing.
“I believe in ensuring real and not surface
understanding. Learning piano must be
real to the student and must consult his or
her own willingness to learn, or must be
cultivated as such, thus being enjoyable
and progressive for the student.
Therefore, curricula are customized to
one’s specific needs.
“I believe in teaching on gradual levels,
consulting ones understanding and
progressing at one’s own particular pace,
which varies from person to person.
“I encourage continuous practicing and
lessons to refine and perfect one’s skills
until they are mastered effortlessly and
performed with ease.
“I have accumulated several years – an
entire lifetime actually – of professional
knowledge, experience and hard-won
know-how in order to help others.
“I have been very fortunate to be trained
by Ophelia Kombadjian, currently an
instructor in a Parisian conservatory,
Lucette Deliene, long-time performer in
the Salzburg Festival, the late Dr. John
Wilson, conductor and accompaniment
professor and the very renowned Dr.
Alexandra Pierce, author, pianist,
composer and instructor.”
