
Evelyn Simonian first began playing
piano at the young age of five, when she
discovered her passion. She pursued her
career, earning a Master in Music from
University of Redlands, noted for its
prestigious music program.
As a pianist, Simonian has performed in
many places all over California,
participating in several festivals and
competitions, both as a soloist and as a
duo pianist.
As a music instructor, Simonian
specializes in "Movement Education" and
through this, seeks to get her students to
develop all the musical aspects and
characterizations of their respective
musical pieces. Her students have ranged
from age three to age eighty, from
amateurs to professional concert pianists.
Her teaching method is catered to each
student's interests, age, ability and
personality and has resulted in award
winning students.
Simonian has directed and
choreographed several musical and
dance performances, concerts and
recitals throughout the years.
She has been featured in many
newspapers and television programs for
her successful and unique teaching
method as well as for her many piano
performances and even humanitarian
endeavors involving music.
